The name “Tarkovskiana,” the platform logo, and all associated graphic elements are the property of Inițiativa Tarkovskiana în România S.R.L. Their use without the prior written consent of the Operator is prohibited.
The platform’s content (films, text materials, images) is protected by copyright legislation, both national (Law No. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights) and international.
6. Copyright and Distribution Rights
The vast majority of films presented on the platform are cinematographic works in the public domain, which allows their free distribution without licensing restrictions.
For films subject to active rights, Inițiativa Tarkovskiana holds agreements with state institutions, funds, and archives, as well as with dedicated foundations from the Russian Federation, the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
The online distribution of films follows the same legal regime as distribution in public spaces, in accordance with Romanian cinematography legislation in force.
